Karen is one of the few aesthetic consultants in the UK who regularly uses a cannula to place the dermal filler. This is a way of introducing the Restylane range of dermal fillers into the skin. Unlike a sharp needle the cannula is blunt ended reducing tissue, nerve or blood vessels trauma and decreasing the amount of swelling and the risk of bruising. It is virtually painless too. You will have less injection entry points as the long cannula will reach a wide area and can be moved around in different directions without discomfort.
