Aesthetic Supporting Nurse (RGN)

An exciting opportunity for a Registered Adult Nurse RGN, to join our established team on a part time basis, in the post of Aesthetic supporting Nurse.

You must possess a strong focus on providing exceptionally high standards of care and treatments to meet the needs of our very loyal private patient base.We have an excellent reputation for excellence and for providing a 5 star customer service. Therefore we are looking for an experienced nurse who will complement our mission and join our friendly talented team.

You must be experienced in advanced facial rejuvenation and to further your skills, you will be mentored by one of the best practitioners in the industry.
 
The role will involve:
 
 
  • Providing in depth consultations and comprehensive post treatment and follow up care.
  • You will provide a wide range of injectable and aesthetic treatments and up to date procedures and support the nurse consultant in this fast paced busy clinic.
  • The clinic is spacious and equipped to a high standard providing us with an exceptional environment in which to work.
  • Part-time hours:  up to 16 hours per week. Additional work will be given to an outstanding candidate.


Our ideal candidate should have:

 

  • A good solid background in aesthetics.
  • You must be proficient in providing a range of injectable treatments to an advanced level and achieving natural results. (Must be regularly injecting to an advanced level).
  • Having experience including laser treatment, skin tightening, micro-sclerotherapy, Medical grade chemical skin peels, intravenous cannulation and Coolsculpting will be very valuable.
  • Have excellent communication, organisation, administrative and computer skills.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge about infection prevention and control.
  • Being proactive in marketing and advertising will be very useful.
  • Must demonstrate comprehensive detailed knowledge about the majority of the treatments that we offer.
  • Be proficient in providing advanced consultations of ageing, skin and body treatments.
  • Perform thorough in depth consultations and post treatment advice.
  • Have a strong passion for educating patients.
  • Have an eye for detail and the natural enhancement.


Candidate Requirements:

 

  • Must have a keen interest in infection prevention and control and hygiene.
  • Have experience working within an aesthetics clinic or highly regulated environment.
  • Have a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
  • You must be proactive in developing your knowledge of the clinic’s treatments and extensive client base.
  • Promote the clinic’s treatments and ensure you drive the clinic forward.
  • Provide an excellent patient experience with a fast pace, yet maintain a high quality service. And work confidently within this fast paced environment.  
  • Contributing to the business social media and website content. And be commercial and business aware.
  • Adhere strictly to our protocols and policies.
  • You must have exceptional communication, customer services and written skills.
  • Be highly flexible and have a can do attitude.
  • Possess excellent organisation and people management skills.
  • Be pro-active, be able to multi-task and be self motivated.

You will have a diverse range of responsibilities which include:

 

  • You will be responsible for assisting duties in the clinic rooms, reception, office and contributing to the smooth running of the business.
  • Undertake thorough patient assessments, plan treatments, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with our standards.
  • Proficiently and ethically prescribe and administer a wide range of anti ageing injectable treatments such as botox, dermal fillers, profhilo, and IV therapy.
  • Bring new skills and treatments to the business will be welcomed.
  • Once fully trained to our standard, you can progress to being allocated your own patients and leading shifts.

You must be available to work day shifts and late evenings. The position requires a high degree of flexibility with working hours and work days.

You will generally work 2 days per week and rotas will change on a weekly basis.

You will be required to work full time to cover holidays, sickness and additional hours where necessary.


You must have:

 

  • An NMC adult nurse qualification and preferably hold a Prescribing license (V300 independent prescribing qualification) although not essential.
  • Hold aesthetic certifications.
  • Hold a valid UK work permit/visa.
  • Have at least 5 years working experience within the aesthetics industry.
  • Be able to offer commitment and longevity to the role.


An offer of employment will be strictly subject to enhanced DBS and NI check, employment reference and verification of UK professional registration. Additionally you will be asked to perform a demonstration of your skills.

The Role – A short list of what you will be doing (but not limited to)

 

We are looking for someone who is committed to the business and especially important will be your ability to:

 

  • Develop business promotional plans and pursue them to completion

  • Develop in-depth product and procedure knowledge that is essential for dealing with patient enquiries and the development into the role of customer advisor

  • Oversee the client experience in all aspects of the clients journey and manage patients from initial enquiry to discharge

  • Become competent in communicating in-depth information and presenting consultations to clients

  • Lead the business marketing activities including, management of the company website, social media and promotional materials

  • Be able to deal with sensitive and confidential issues in a professional manner

 

 

What’s needed to be successful at this role?

 

For you to be successful in the role of business supporting manager, it will be advantageous but not essential to possess:

 

  • A degree in business or another relevant qualification. We encourage you to apply if you do not have a degree but have previous experience in business, where you have worked your way up through an organisation gaining experience in sales, marketing roles and undertaken work-based training

  • Have an understanding and experience of working within various areas of business management including HR and expertise in training and development of staff

  • A knowledge of health, safety and risk, as well as governance and working in a highly regulated environment

  • Knowledge of a medical environment or experience in the NHS or independent sector

  • You must possess a clean driving licence

Hours of Work

 

Immediate full time position if you have the level of experience required to take on the entire role otherwise 3 to 4 days depending on your experience.

Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 am to 10 pm.

The position requires a high degree of flexibility with working hours and work days. You will be required to work late evenings.
