You must be available to work day shifts and late evenings. The position requires a high degree of flexibility with working hours and work days.
You will generally work 2 days per week and rotas will change on a weekly basis.

Part time administrator and general clinic assistant
We are recruiting an additional staff member and are looking for a dynamic part time administrator and general clinic assistant to join an existing team to work 2 to 3 days per week Monday to Friday. Initially it is necessary for you to take on the role of clinic assistant for several months to develop knowledge that is essential for the administration role. This role will mostly involve all aspects of office management, telephony and you will be expected to assist staff in the clinic rooms. You will become multi-skilled and assist in all areas of the clinic to ensure the smooth running of the business. You can eventually develop the role to solely administration leading to a permanent administration position and possibly full time. It is necessary to work from 2 sites.
Your role will mostly involve all aspects of office management, telephony and you will be expected to assist staff in the clinic rooms and reception to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in office management and reception, also hospitality, retail, or customer services roles will be very valuable. You must have exceptional communication and written skills, have good administrative and computer skills, have a good knowledge of protocols and policies and being proactive in marketing and advertising will also be very valuable.
We DO NOT require someone with beauty experience.
Must have a keen interest in infection prevention and control and hygiene

Be highly flexible and have a can do attitude
Possess excellent organisation and people management skills
Be pro-active, be able to multi task and be self motivated
Be proficient with problem solving and decision making

Handle all tasks confidentially and sensitively
The role will involve:
Learn about infection prevention and control in depth and must maintain exceptional and very strict infection control and hygiene protocols
Chaperone duties and assisting in the treatment rooms when required
Assist with the day to day running of the reception and the office
Managing the complex appointment system
Ordering from suppliers, stock control and paying suppliers
Handling all aspects of patient enquiries
Meeting and greeting patients
Answering telephones, making appointments and attending to general enquiries
You must be sympathetic, understanding and caring with our patients and staff alike
Taking clients payments
General housekeeping duties
Experience in the aesthetic or medical field is NOT required as comprehensive training will be given. You will receive structured on going training with full support.
This is a medical practice, we do not perform beauty treatments.

Hours of Work:
16 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 am to 10 pm. The position requires a high degree of flexibility with working hours and work days. You will generally work 2 -3 days per week. You may be required to work full time during staff holiday and sick leave. Additional work is available for an outstanding candidate. Rotas will change on a weekly basis to suit the business. Should the role become solely administration, you may be required to work full time (hours negotiable).
