Skin lightening with Vitamin C and Glutathione drips

Doesn't it make you wonder, why global stars like Beyoncé, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are reducing the dark pigmentation of their skin's?

It has been suspected for many years that they are undergoing skin lightening with high dose of intravenous Glutathione and Vitamin C drips. This celebrity treatment has been around for years and as you can see by our favourite celebs, it really works.

North Wales Aesthetics Clinic offer's this treatment which is not only highly effective for the management and lightening of skin tone but also for the treatment of the brown patchy skin pigmentation condition-Melasma which I see great results with. This time of the year we receive many calls from Melasma sufferers with increasingly worsening pigmentation as Melasma will darken with sun exposure.

The colour in our skin occurs from the production of melanin. Greater melanin production means darker skin. Glutathione inhibits the production of melanin and can have a dramatic and positive effect on skin tone and colour.

Glutathione is a substance that is naturally present in your cells. As well as lightening the skin, Glutathione is also a powerful antioxidant reducing damage from free radicals that cause cancers and chronic inflammatory conditions including conditions like acne. I love Glutathione because of all its wonderful benefits, so I put Glutathione in all drips, for all my patients.

For skin lightening effects, I normally administer Glutathione along with Vitamin C. Again, another well known powerful antioxidant for the immune system. Another major role of vitamin C is in anti-ageing as it builds collagen which is our skin's plumpness. Additionally Vitamin C, undoes the harm caused by UV damage, improves skin elasticity and of course it lightens the skin improving pigmentation, blotches and darkness.

In order to lighten darkened skin or melasma, I recommend a course of Glutathione and vitamin C intravenous drips until the skin or pigmentation lightens then a reducing dose regularly will maintain your lovely clear even tone skin.
